During the initial struggling phase of Bhola Zarda, we undertook a challenging promotion campaign for the brand. It was our original idea to launch a specific sales promotion scheme for the brand. The overall campaign was for a period of 90 days. The campaign proved tremendous success for the brand with the major market share in the targeted territory.

It was a challenging assignment for us to undertake new product launch of Prism Cement in UP East. It was found difficult to introduce and position a fresh brand in the severe competition scenario. The campaign brought memorable success for us and the brand, and now the brand image is visible to everyone.

Radhe Sarai in 2004 in Eastern Uttar Pradesh
It was an unusual promotion campaign for our organisation, where we had to establish a brand of saria in less brand conscious market especially in rural and suburbs of the targeted geographical area. Under this campaign we performed newspaper advertising, wall writing, merchandising, postering and bannering, etc.
We handled a comprehensive new product launch campaign for M/s Abhinav Steels Ltd., Allahabad for their new improved variant “Tara TMT Saria”.
In the first phase in December 2009 a teaser campaign was undertaken without disclosing the actual product and its name in the market. The forthcoming product was positioned in the market as ”Nirman Ka Pran”.
The target geographical are of the campaign was UP (East). Under the campaign the modern visual tools like Billboard, Shop Boards, Banners, Wall and shop shutter painting and Newspaper ads, audio tools like Radio Jingles and audio-visual tools like road-shows were successfully utilized. The exhaustive campaign covered urban, semi-urban and rural areas of entire UP (East) including Allahabad, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Balia and Deoria.
The Product “Tara TMT Saria”was officially launched in the New Year, January 2010. Whole campaign proved tremendous success and within a short span of just eight months the product acquired substantial market share.
7th Feb 2010 was a memorable day in the history of Indian Railways.
North Central Railway (NCR) started 19 new trains at important routes. These 19 new trains included Duranto (Allahabad to New Delhi and Lucknow to New Delhi) and Shatabdi (Kanpur to New Delhi).
The collective inaugural ceremony was organized in Kanpur with remote controlled inauguration at 6 other stations. Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, Chairperson, UPA and Hon’ble Mamata Banerjee, Minister for Railways, Govt. of India presided over the function.
It was big challenge to properly promote and advertise this big event. There was severe competition among the advertising agencies of North Central Railway (NCR).
All the agencies submitted their proposed designs. It was the great creative effort of the team of R.D. Advertising that our submitted design were found to be the best and the entire task was delegated to us. For making the entire campaign a tremendous success, the whole creative team of R.D. Advertising put forth its efforts including four days and three nights. The result was splendid ad artwork, brochure, invitation card, back-drop etc.
In 2011, we have conducted a public awareness campaign for North Central Railway for delivering meaningful messages and teach safety measures to be taken while crossing both manned and unmanned level railway crossing. A Power-point presentation of 20 minutes was prepared containing real life motion film, animation, special effects and physical demonstration. The campaign mainly targeted to school children of IVth to IXth standard. Initially the presentation was conducted in all central schools of Allahabad, Jhansi and Agra.
The initial phase of this campaign proved tremendous success and NCR is planning to go in big way and this campaign is to be undertaken in institutions other than central schools. The presentation team comprised of technical officer of R.D. Advertising, senior officers of NCR’s PR Department and Safety Department.
The real life pictures and videos laid strong impact and safety message in the mind of school children, which further strengthened by word of mouth.
The CD of this memorable campaign is annexed with this profile. The 20 minute Power-point presentation displays real life situations of manned and unmanned level railway crossing. Completion of this presentation took more than a month including shooting, editing, inflicting special effects and message writing.
Allahabad Agricultural Institute – Deemed University (AAIDU) rechristened as Sam Higginbuttom Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences (SHIATS) in 2010. The institute also celebrated its centenary in 2010. On this occasion the institute delegated a major assignment of image building and promoting the various academic programmes of the University on national level. The institute runs many traditional, agri-oriented and technical academic and vocational courses both under regular and distance mode. We undertook the advertisement and promotional campaign for the institution and promoted the admission in various academic programmes through newspaper and other media on national level. The SHIATS has a vast network of distance education study centres in all parts of the country. We undertook the major task of media planning and media scheduling for the client. The promotional campaign is still on and going on successfully with a great pace and acclamation.
In the year 2012-13, on the auspicious occasion of birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand and Gurudev Rabindra Nath Tagore, North Central Railway (NCR) welcomed two rail exhibition trains named as Sanskriti Express and Vivek Express. These exhibition trains were well decorated and contained the details about Gurudev Rabindra Nath Tagore and Swami Vivekanand. The special exhibition trains reached at different railway stations for public information. We shouldered the important task of vast publicity of these two exhibition trains among the masses through newspaper, posters, banners, handbills and boards etc. Our creative team received appreciation and applauds from the senior office bearers of North Central Railway.
Fortunately we are empanelled with North Central Railway (NCR), North Eastern Railway (NER), West Central Railway (WCR) and Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW). For these different wings of Indian Railway we are creating and publishing display advertisements on regular basis in different newspapers of the country. These display advertisements are based on different themes such as safety at manned and unmanned level crossing, awareness related to suspected explosive items, fire safety, poison peddling, cleanliness and hygiene etc. These display advertisement are published in different languages like Hindi, English and Urdu etc. The display advertisements are either supported with real life photographs of the actual situation or many times they are supported with cartoon themes.
kumbh mela 2013
The holy city of Allahabad (Prayag) is blessed to have the sacred confluence of river Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. At sangam, every year the Magh Mela is organized and every 12th year the Maha Kumbh Mela is organized. Recently during Jan-March 2013 the Maha Kumbh Mela was celebrated. The sixty days wonderful celebration of Maha Kumbh Mela attracts millions of pilgrims from all parts of country. During Maha Kumbh Mela 2013 we undertook important assignment of display advertisements in newspapers, developing and printing brochures, boards, directional boards, video and audio spots to be broadcasted through the public address system and screens in the mela area. We successfully accomplished the entire task and received applaud from NCR officers.
State Bank of India (SBI) also gave us the important assignment of decorating and furnishing a special Magh Mela branch. We also undertook the task of publicity and promotion of the special banking services offered by SBI along with ATM services in the Maha Kumbh Mela area. Similar assignment we successfully accomplished for Bhola Indish, J.P Group and BSNL.
In the month of August 2013, a photo exhibition was organised on the glorious occasion of 160 yrs of Indian Railway, the heritage photographs and documents used as public display. We gave a heritage ambience to the exhibition area with the help of boards, banners, standees etc. We developed and printed brochures and other mass information material containing text and photographs of 160 yrs celebration of glorious history of Indian Railway. The publicity of the exhibition also through newspaper ads, brochures, handbills, posters and banners etc. NCR also celebrated the successful decade at the exhibition. At this occasion a logo on 10 years of progress and development of NCR was also unveiled. The task of designing of this logo was left among the population through a public advertisement. We put our exhaustive creative and designing effort to design the logo and we finally won the competition and the logo designed by us is being used by NCR.
We have prepared a well admired documentary for Railway Electrification. This documentary film will be showed to public at large at the exhibition at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The documentary film contains the details about the Railway Electrification and about the projects successfully completed by the department. The documentary film contains messages of the senior office bearers of Railway Electrification.
Gradually taking a step ahead with modern technology and adapting web media using Google, You Tube, Facebook and Twitter etc. We are undertaking the task of web marketing for commercial clients through social networking sites.
